OK Really quick! I have not been a good blogger but I have been on bed rest! I have also not been a good bed rester! My blood pressure has been funny the last couple weeks so on Friday at my appointment Dr. Ortiz put me on a monitor in the office. After a short time he came in and checked to see if I was dilated...just a finger tip...and then was concerned about my blood pressure and proteins in my urine...slightly elevated. SO they sent me up to labor and delivery to get monitored there. I was there for about 2 1/2 hours and everything was good by the time I left. So he decided to have me go back on Sunday to be monitored and if I still hadn't had the baby he was going to induce me on Tuesday (6/23). Sundays monitoring went really well and so today I went in for a regular visit. He checked me again...still no change but my blood pressure was up again. So tomorrow morning we go in to be induced. I AM FREAKING OUT! I am not happy with the situation at all. I am scared about my blood pressure which has been causing headaches which have been making me miserable! I am not happy about NOT dilating because it is going to make this induction 10X worse on all of us! The good news is...I have been having contractions on and off ALL day so I am hoping that things are finally going to be changing to make this induction more "favorable". :) Please please pray for our whole family tomorrow! I want this baby more than anything but I want him to be healthy! So pray that my body starts the process on it's own and needs little help from the doctors! Pray for Mikey, he is so excited but I know it's got to be scary for him to see me in the hospital...and in pain! Pray for my mom because she's going to be with us every step of the way...that's alot of work for Grandma's ;). Pray for my Dad because he is going to attempt to go to work! Pray for Laura because she is my DOG woman! She will be alone in the house with 4 dogs! Lastly, pray for me. Pray that I can handle this well, it is my first challenge as a new Mommy! So I am hoping by this time tomorrow we will be the proud parents of our Lil Man! :) I will tell who I can, please...TELL EACH OTHER!
